The team gathered at the De Vere Beaumont Estate for the latest instalment of the Alternative Events calendar as we staged the AV production for the Legal Management Summit and the Legal IT Conference.

Two events played out over three days as we installed a single screen stage set, snuggly fitted within the dimensions of the Hanover Suite, with interchangeable event branding to reflect the transition from one event to the other. The 24ft wide installation featured an un-printed leather grain wrap to project on to using the venues in-built ceiling mounted data projector. To enhance the presentation area we provided six LED Up-lighters, an 8x2m staging platform, a branded lectern and a stage lighting package to highlight the presenters and key features.

Our data technician expertly handled the switch between multiple devices as the main screen content moved between PowerPoint presentations, holding slides and Sli-do. We also provided relay monitors, a countdown timer, a bespoke sound specification with an array of microphones and an audio technician just like we had done for previous events in our client’s calendar.

New for 2019, a CFO Stream was introduced to the event schedule which created a mini conference within a conference with separate branding, standalone AV equipment and a more intimate feel. The new elements mingled with the old for the seamless execution of the event by all parties and, to ensure that it wasn’t all work and no play, Sounds Commercial handled the dedicated technical rider for the band, Abandoman, on Tuesday evening which helped the delegates relax after a comprehensive schedule of presentations and facilitated discussions.
