Bodyshop Live! 2019 – Hilton Birmingham Metropole

This year we were honoured once again to be providing services for Bodyshop Live! 2019 for their annual jam-packed two-day programme of activities including; an exhibition, workshops, auto showcases, a rising star awards dinner and a glamorous Bodyshop awards night. Held at the Hilton Metropole, this event welcomed over 500 delegates over the course of the 2 days and was a success all round.

 

30 under 30: rising stars

The first evening of the event celebrated those in the industry achieving above and beyond under the age of 30. Bodyshop’s 30 under 30 branding was used to ensure the room had a different feel to the awards night the following evening. Lighting helped set the tone of the prestigious awards and gave a more intimate feel with screens rolling content across the stage.

 

Bodyshop Live! 2019 Expo and workshops

Industry leaders including manufacturers, insurers and body shops were there to share with delegates their latest technologies and innovation in an informal exhibition set-up that allowed for conversation and networking beneficial to both parties. Talks and engaging workshops also took place throughout the day, for which we provided large double screens and audio equipment to ensure a high-quality experience for the delegate.

 

Bodyshop Live! 2019 Auto Showcase

Top car manufacturers showcased 6 of their latest models, showing delegates around and giving live demonstrations of the latest cutting-edge technology. We provided a stage for the centre of the cars, allowing for the presenter to be elevated amongst delegates and space to wonder around the vehicle whilst giving their demonstration. Moving lights lit each car in turn to give them full attention and speakers around the stage ensured quality audio throughout. We also provided live camera relay across four screens to ensure delegates could view the set from all angles. This set up allowed for maximised visual impact for the delegates.

 

Bodyshop Awards 2019

The Bodyshop magazine awards have run for 23 years, and so every year needs to be bigger and better than the last. Following a drinks reception, delegates were treated to a three-course dinner before the awards ceremony and live music with DJ Afishal who uses HD graphics to create a powerful live show. A separate room also housed a gin bar and DJ to allow guests to mingle throughout the night. For the awards themselves, we provided print banners to brand the stage, large format screens to roll content, as well as top quality audio and lightening equipment to set the tone of the event. Star cloth lined the set to add that luxurious feel. To add a final touch of glamour, we provided ‘sparculars’ to line the stage as the top awards winners were announced which wrapped up the awards perfectly.
