This month we had a double instalment of ITP with two events taking place in our glorious capital. The first event took place in the Ballroom at 8 Northumberland Avenue which is just a stone’s throw from Trafalgar Square. This provided a gorgeous backdrop for the Watch Pro Awards where a large LED screen was installed to provide the ultimate visual delight. We played our part well by adding the appropriate sound, staging and lighting equipment, fit for royalty, as the biggest movers and shakers in the British watch industry gathered for a night of networking and awards. A three-man team of Sounds Commercial technicians were on-hand to manage the disciplines of audio, data and lighting and ensured that everything ticked along nicely.

We then revisited the Bloomsbury Ballroom for our final ITP event of the calendar year as we managed the AV equipment and support for the black-tie, Catering Insight Awards. We supplied a white leatherette set with recessed returns for sponsor branding that tucked in neatly with the contours of the main Ballroom and all of the AV equipment needed to support the awards ceremony. We tasked our audio technician with finding the right blend of awards stings for the fourth annual ceremony and we are pleased to say he served up a treat. To meet audience feedback, the event featured a networking drinks reception before the luxury three course meal and additional networking time was built into the schedule after the awards ceremony.
